Writer's Block: Desert Island Time

You're packing your bag for that magical desert island that happens to have electricity, a TV, and a DVD player—what five DVDs do you take with you?

1. The Final Destination trilogy - By far my favorite movie.
2. All of House, Drake and Josh, Will and Grace and Psych - My favorite shows.
3. The Little Mermaid -  My favorite Disney movie.
4. Funny Games - I watched it with my sister and it is just great.
5. Save the Last Dance/Step Up 1&2 - I love dance movies.

This is totally more then five, but I do not care. :D

Writer's Block: More Island Time

You're packing your bag for that other desert island—the one with no electricity—what 5 books do you take with you?

1. The Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyers (This is beautiful)
2. Island of Lost Girls by Jennifer McMahon (This managed to terrify me for days.)
3. The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. (I read this book in 6th grade and I have loved it ever since)
4. Killing Britney by Sean Olin (This book is amazing.)
5.  And pretty much anything/everything from Jodi Picoult. (She is just so amazing I can't pick one.)

This is by no means in any order.

Writer's Block: Chatty

Do you prefer texting or talking on the phone?
Texting definitly. I hate talking an the phone, unless it's really necessary. That way, I can have a conversation without everyone hearing me speak. I don't speak well verbally; I'm much more of a writer. I prefer texting because I can get my feelings across more efficiently.

Writer's Block: Deal or No Deal

What's on your list of dealbreakers when it comes to romantic relationships?
It simply wont work if my significant other cannot: make me laugh, make me feel special/significant, make me feel as if I can trust them, respect everything I have to say/respect what I believe in.

And of course, I cannot be with someone if they pressure me to do things that I'm not comfortable with. I will not be with someone who does not respect me as a person.

Writer's Block: Miss Manners

What recently developed technology—cell phones, wi-fi, laptops, handheld gaming devices, etc.—do you think has had the worst influence on how people behave in public?
Most definitly cell phones. People talk/text on them while driving and it is a safety hazard for both the people inside and the pedestrians. I really don't like when people start a conversation with me, and attempt to hold a conversatin with someone on the phone. It cannot be done. You will end up forgetting what I say, or saying the wrong thing to the wrong person and then somebody gets mad in the end. It just isn't worth it.
Have you ever met a celebrity in real life? Who was it and how did your paths cross?

A goup of my friends and I went to a Bring Me the Horizon concert last year. As we were wating in line, we saw the band members and, naturally, we got excited. After the show, we followed them back to the bus and I got all of the band members to sign the sign that I had made. And then Oliver Sykes (vocals) gave me a hug.

He smells really nice. :D

Writer's Block: Timely Departures

If you could jump in a time machine and travel back to any point in history, where would you go?
Honestly, I would go back to the Holocaust. It's my favorite event to learn about. I have this odd fascination with Hitler, Clausberg, Mengele and the others that were involved. The expirements, though wrong and inhumane, interest me in ways that I can't explain.

Writer's Block: It's the Little Things

What's a little thing you do every day that brightens the lives of those around you?
I love to smile and laugh. I like to make jokes and I like to be loud and random. I like to listen when people need me to. I like to help people. I consider myself loyal to those around me and I like to compliment people when they do a good job. If I brighten someones day at all, it's because I do one (or more) of the things above.

Writer's Block: Really, Truly

Do you believe in true love? What about love at first sight?
I do, actually, believe in true love. I believe in soul mates and that every person has someone they were meant for. Love at first sight, on the other hand, I'm not sure I believe in. How can you know you love someone if you know nothing about them? To say that you love someone is kind of a big deal. Love is, or should be, unfaltering and forgiving, and constant. If you know nothing about someone, can you love them unfalteringly? Can you forgive them if they hurt you? Can you love them always and forever? Can you distinguish love from lust? It's a hard task to do. Even the best of us fail sometimes.

Writer's Block: Know Thyself

What habit of your own annoys other people? Have you ever tried to change it?
I have this strange high pitched sneeze that always makes people jump. Most people get over it after a while, some never get over it. I could always just shut my mouth when I sneeze, but it hurts if I do that. I suppose everyone will just have to look past it. :D
